Instructions

Step 1
Add soda to buttermilk in a glass measuring cup and let it react.
Step 2
Separate eggs. Beat egg whites until stiff and set aside
Step 3
Mix together melted butter, sugar, and vanilla.
Step 4
Beat egg yolks. Add flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix until fluffy
Step 5
Gently add egg whites and mix. Cook on greased griddle.
