Eggnog French Toast! Recipe below: Ingredients: Brioche bread loaf (not sliced if possible) 2 large eggs 1c Eggnog ½ tsp Cinnamon ¼ tsp Nutmeg 2 tbsp Butter ½ tsp Vanilla extract (optional) For garnish: Fresh strawberries quartered Powdered sugar Maple syrup How to: Slice the bread into thick slices. In a shallow bowl whisk the eggs. Pour the eggnog in the same bowl & vanilla extract. Sprinkle in the cinnamon and nutmeg. Mix everything together. Heat a large frying pan over medium high heat. Add the butter. Dip each piece of bread into the eggnog mixture on both sides. Add to the frying pan and cook until it’s golden brown on each side. About 4 min per side. Add some more butter if needed. I usually cook 2 - 3 slices at a time and add more butter to the pan for each batch. Serve warm with sprinkled powdered sugar on top and fresh strawberries.
