Instructions
Step 1
Wash the meat and drain, put cooker on and in a saucepan add the oil and chopped onion and cook until soft.
Step 2
Add the lamb and cook. If it dries add some hot water and cook until meat is half cooked.
Step 3
Add chopped tomatoes and baking powder and all the dry spices and continue to cook for a few minutes.
Step 4
Cut the pepper and add it to the lamb sauce along with garlic and ginger paste and cook for five minutes or until the lamb is tender.
Step 5
Cut the okra and add it to the sauce.
Step 6
Cook for a further 3-4 minutes, wash and cut fresh coriander and add into the sauce
Step 7
Cook and simmer on a low heat for a few minutes.
Step 8
Turn off the heat and serve with pita bread (or bread of your choice) with salad.
