Instructions
Step 1
Sauté beef cubes until golden, add small onion diced, add pepper, curry, and bay leaves, add water (2cups), bring it to boil and simmer on low heat for an hour, then add salt.

Cook rice with the beef broth (1 cup of rice= 1 cup of broth or water) bring it to boil and simmer on low heat.

Sauté vermicelli until golden then add water and beef broth, boil, then simmer on low heat, stir often so the vermicelli won’t stick to each other.

Fry or sauté potato and raisin for garnish

I soaked bread pieces in beef broth as first layer to add depth and flavor to the dish, then rice, vermicelli, potato, raisin, and beef cubes at the end. Served warm with a side salad or tzatziki sauce
