Instructions

Prep

Step 1
Brine chicken in water+salt+vinegar
Step 2
Chop onions and tomato

Main

Step 3
Heat whole spices in fat
Step 4
Add onions and fry till golden brown
Step 5
Add ginger garlic paste and fry till raw smell is gone
Step 6
Reduce flame and add powders (chilli, coriander, cumin, turmeric)
Step 7
Mix and immediately add tomato
Step 8
Fry till it becomes kind of a paste
Step 9
Add chicken, salt, ghee, and some water if needed
Step 10
(For pepper chicken add 2 tbsp of pepper powder and curry leaves) Cooker: Mix well and cook for one whistle on high and 10 minutes on low ### (OR) ### Kadai: Keep on low flame for 20 to 30 minutes. Check intermittently
