Instructions
Step 1
In large skillet, cook beef over medium heat until no longer pink; drain
Season meat as desired
Step 2
Begin cooking pasta until al dente
Tip - cook slowly so noodles are done last, so they do not stick together as you are layer the casserole
Step 3
Stir in spaghetti sauce and tomato sauce to cooked ground beef; remove from heat
Step 4
In a separate bowl, combine cream of mushroom soup and sour cream in bowl
Step 5
Begin constructing casserole; In two 8 in. square baking dishes (see notes for one pan), layer half the meat sauce, pasta, soup mixture, and cheese. Repeat layers.
Step 6
Cover and freeze one casserole for up to 3 months. (Thaw in the fridge overnight. Remove from refrigerator 30 minutes before baking.)
Step 7
Cover and bake remaining casserole at 350 degrees for 55-65 minutes or until cheese is melted
