Instructions
Step 1
In lg. pot, sauté sausage (5-6 min.) until browned; use slotted spoon to transfer sausage to plate & set aside.
Step 2
In same pot, add butter; sauté onions over med. until translucent. Add garlic; sauté (1 min.) until fragrant.
Step 3
Add chicken broth, water, potatoes, & salt/pepper; boil until potatoes are tender. Stir in kale, cream, & sausage. Taste; add salt/pepper. Serve garnished with grated parmesan cheese.
Notes
Step 4
Sausage: if you have regular ground pork, simply add 1t dried Italian herb seasoning or Herbs de Provence + a pinch of crushed red pepper flakes.
