Instructions

Step 1
Place a medium pot on high heat
Step 2
Add 3 cups water, spilt peas to boil for 10mins and reduce heat to medium
Step 3
Add 2 potatoes and allow to boil for 10mins
Step 4
Add to a blender: tomato, onion, garlic, ginger, dates, 1/4 cup carrots, curry powder, dried chillies, turmeric, paprika, peppercorns, coconut milk power, 1/2 cup hot water from the pot and blend smooth
Step 5
Add reminding carrots, green peas, blender contents to pot and allow to cook on low heat for 10mins
Step 6
Garnish with cilantro
