Instructions

Curry Instructions

Step 1
In a saucepan over medium heat, add oil. Once hot, add onion, carrot, and garlic. Cook until onions are translucent and garlic is fragrant, about 5 minutes.
Step 2
Add ginger, garam masala, curry powder, tumeric, cayenne, fenugreek powder, coriander, cumin, sugar, and salt to vegetables. Add a bit of water if you want to thin it out, it's up to you how thick you want your curry.
Step 3
Add chunked potatoes and cook until they are fork tender, about 10-15 minutes.
Step 4
Cut chicken into rough cubes and add to the mix. Cover and let simmer until cooked all the way through, 8 to 10 minutes.
Step 5
Mix in tomato paste, minced cabbage, and coconut cream. Let the mix simmer until everything is cooked and thickened.

Monster Glaze Instructions

Step 6
In a saucepan over low heat, add berries and stir. Once juice starts to leak from berries, mash them with a fork or spoon. Remove from heat.
Step 7
Press the blackberry goo one spoonful at a time through a fine-mesh sieve to remove seeds. Discard seeds. Pour seedless goo into a blender and let cool.
Step 8
Add 3 tablespoons of cold water to cornstarch and gently mix into a slurry.
Step 9
Pour cornstarch mixture into the blender with the blackberry goo along with remaining ingredients.
Step 10
Blend until smooth and evil.

Black Rice Instructions

Step 11
In a large pot, add water and a large pinch of salt and heat over medium high. Bring to boil and add rice.
Step 12
Let simmer uncovered until tender, about 20-25 minutes. Drain and fluff with a fork.

Assembly instructions

Step 13
Plate yourself a healthy serving of rice. Spoon curry over the rice and add some glaze to the plate.
Step 14
With each bite, try mixing a little bit of curry, rice and glaze. The sweet and spicy combo is monstrously good! The amount of carbs, on the other hand, is pure evil.
