Step 1
Heat olive oil in large cast iron skillet. Season cod with salt and pepper. Sprinkle evenly on both sides with arrowroot starch. When oil shimmers, add code and sear until golden, 3-4 minutes per side. Transfer to plate.
Step 2
Sear butter in same skillet. Add lemon slices until golden, 1 minutes per side. Add lemon to cod on plate.
Step 3
Using same skillet again, cook asparagus, garlic, and orzo for about 2 minutes. Add chicken broth, lemon juice, and increase heat to high to bring to a boil. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the orzo is al dente, about 10 minutes. Slide in cod and lemon slices and any juice on the plate. Cook until warmed through, about another minute. Top with fresh dill and serve.
