250 gramflour

80 grampowdered sugar

1vanilla pod

2egg yolk

1 bagvanilla sugar

100 gramalmonds

200 grambutter

salt

Instructions
Step 1
Mix the flour with the powdered sugar, vanilla sugar, salt and blended almonds.




Step 2
Then add the egg yolk, the butter and the marrow from the vanilla pod and knead everything into a nice dough.



Step 3
Place the dough in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

Preheat the oven to 175 °C

Form 5 cm long rolls with a thickness of 0.5 cm and form a half moon with them.
Step 6
Then place the half moons on a baking tray.
Step 7
Bake the vanilla chicken for 10 minutes in the preheated oven. The bottom edges should be slightly browned.
Step 8
Once the vanilla kipferl are out of the oven, gently push them into the sugar mixture.
Step 9
Then let them cool down.
