1.5 poundsground chuck

1 cupchopped onion

1 cupcelery
chopped

5 cupswater

16 ouncestomato sauce

15 ouncecan Italian-style tomatoes

½ teaspoongarlic powder

½ tablespoonsalt

4 teaspoonsbeef bouillon granules

6 dashesblack pepper

6 dashescayenne pepper

½ teaspoonoregano flakes

½ teaspoonbasil flakes

2 tablespoonsbrown sugar

¾ cupbbq sauce

8 ounceswhole grain pasta
Instructions
Step 1
Cook beaf and onion. Drain and rinse with hot water. Transfer to large soup kettle.
Step 2
Add rest of ingredients EXCEPT pasta. Bring to a boil, then simmer indefinitely. Taste soup and adjust water and seasonings as needed.
Step 3
while soup is simmering, cook pasta. Cook for two minutes LESS than the pasta package indicates. Drain and add to soup
