Easy Pork Stew Recipe Made on the Stove Top

Super easy to make and tastes so good too. Will be making again at some point.

Added corn and carrots and tomato paste. I started on the stove to brown the meat. Then put everything in my slow cooker and left it on low all day.

I loved this recipe! Definitely went off the rails a little bit, but my stew turned out to be a more Mexican-styled take on the original recipe. I did the following different than what the recipe called for: Substituted white onion for red onion Substituted drained canned corn for celery Substituted chicken broth for chicken stock Substituted golden potatoes for sweet potatoes

We added a splash of cooking wine. When we make it again, I'll dice the onions bigger and the sweet potato and pork smaller and truly brown the pork first

Added variety of carrots. Less meat. It was absolutely delicious!

I browned the pork with the onions because once the potatoes are added, there is a lot of items in the pot. It would take the pork longer to brown. Followed the recipe for everything else.
