Step 1
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together egg and sugar.
Step 2
Add milk, vanilla extract (or other flavored extract such as pandan), oil, salt, baking powder, and glutinous rice flour (or mochiko). Whisk until well combined.
Step 3
Prepare your waffle iron by spraying with oil and begin heating. When the iron is done heating, pour on the batter and cook for 3-5 minutes or until desired “doneness” has been achieved.
Step 4
When done cooking, remove and serve! Add some toppings such as fruits, jams, or spreads to enhance the experience!
