I didn’t have any sweet onion so I skipped it. I sautéed fresh, crushed thyme and garlic in df butter (left over from cooking chicken breasts), until the garlic was golden and fragrant. I added the pumpkin purée & cream straight to the garlic and thyme (i did not blend since there was no onion). We ate this with chicken and pierogis.
