2 tspfish sauce

1 ½ tspblack soy sauce
or sub dark soy sauce and reduce regular soy sauce to 2 tsp

1 ½ tspsugar

1 ½ cupholy basil leaves
loosely packed

vegetable oil
as needed

jasmine rice
for serving
prik nam pla
