deseeded and cut in half lengthways and thinly sliced

15mlturkish red pepper paste
optional, you can use 1/2 tsp if you prefer less spicy or omit

15mlolive oil

salt
optional, as feta cheese maybe quite salty too

black pepper
freshly ground, to taste

1egg

1 Tbspolive oil
to brush the pide
