Ingredients: 250 g medium egg noodles; 2 tbsp. sesame oil; 2 rump or sirloin steaks, roughly 200g each, fat trimmed and cut into 1cm slices; 1 1/2 tbsp. cornflour; 1 red onion, halved and thinly sliced; 400 g purple sprouting broccoli, cut into thirds widthways; 100 mL black bean sauce; 2 tbsp. soy sauce; 1 1/2 tbsp. rice wine vinegar; 4 cm piece ginger, peeled and finely grated; 3 cloves garlic, crushed; 1 red chilli, finely diced (remove seeds if you want less heat); 4 spring onions, trimmed and finely sliced; Lime wedges, to serve

We love this beef and broccoli stir fry. It's such a simple dish to throw together, and versatile, too - swap the steak for chicken breast or tofu if you like!
