My Leftover Stir Fry

This recipe is perfect for when you want to put your sad leftover veggies to good use. The ingredients I am using was what I had in my fridge at the time, but you can play around with anything you'd prefer. And most importantly, have fun with it!

Instructions

Step 1
On high heat in a deep pan, add the vegetable oil and the garlic cloves. Keep them in the pan for some seconds until they get a good char.

Step 2
Add your sliced chicken breast and season it with a pinch of salt.

When the chicken is almost fully cooked, add the sliced veggies in. Using a back and fourth motion, stir the veggies with the chicken until you get rid of their raw edge, for about 7 to 10 minutes.

In no particular order, pour in the soy sauce, the rice vinegar, the sesame oil and the honey. Mix until combined.

Optional but highly recommended, mix the cornstarch and the water in a separate glass and pour that over the mixture. The cornstarch will help the sauce get thicker and glossier, taking this meal to a next level.

Lastly, serve in a bowl over rice or by itself and top with sesame seeds (optional). Enjoy!
