Katsu style curry reminiscent of Japanese and Korean 'kare' houses. Made this recipe to accompany Quorn brand katsu fillets.

Step 1
In a large pan, dry toast the cinnamon, garam masala, cardamom, and cumin.
Step 2
Add cooking oil, onion, and garlic. Fry until starting to crisp.
Step 3
Add curry powder, flour, carrot, honey, and chili oil. Stir until formed into a paste.
Step 4
Add the coconut milk bit by bit, stirring so it stays smooth.
Step 5
One mixed, lower the heat to low and simmer another 15 minutes.
Step 6
Serve side by side with rice and the katsu of your choice. Garnish with chopped spring onions.
