Instructions

Step 1
In a sauce pot, bring all ingredients except rice and sofrito, to a boil. In the meantime, wash rice in a mesh strainer really well. Add rice to boiling water stir and reduce heat. Cover with tight fitting lid and simmer for 30 minutes. If adding sofrito, I highly recommend, remove lid and add sofrito and lightly stir. Cover for an additional five minutes. Enjoy.
