Finely dice onion

Cook until translucent. Add smashed garlic, chilis, and tomato paste until it starts to darken. About 2 minutes.

Start to boil heavily salted water for pasta

And the heavy cream and vodka to the pan with the tomato paste.

Only cook for about another minute before adding pasta that has been slightly undercooked

Toss together and add a quarter cup of pasta water from cooking.
