Amazing Lentil Burgers 🍔🌱 no need to be vegan to make these!
A good burger doesn’t need any meat 🔥 These burgers have everything from taste to texture and I’d proudly serve them to anyone!

Ingredients
6 servings
For the patties:

2 cupslentils
cooked

200gmushrooms

1onion
medium

¼ cupflour
I used oat flour

2garlic cloves

¼ cupparsley

3 sprigsthyme

3 sprigsrosemary

1 tspsmoked paprika

1 Tbspketchup
optional

2 Tbspolive oil
for frying

vegan cheese
optional
For the burgers
Instructions
Step 1
Cook the lentils until they are cooked, but still have quite a lot of bite to them.
Step 2
In the meantime finely chop the mushrooms and onion. Add to a dry and hot pan to release most of the moisture, then add some oil and sauté until they’ve got some good color.
Step 3
Roughly mash the lentils with a fork.
Step 4
Combine all ingredients in a bowl, mix with your hands until everything comes together. If necessary add some more flour as a binder.
Step 5
Shape the patties, then fry in a little oil until crispy from both sides. Optionally add some vegan cheese.
Step 6
Toast your buns, then build your burgers with whatever toppings you like. Enjoy!
