Instructions

Steak

Step 1
Season the steak with salt and pepper and drizzle on the olive oil. Massage the oil into the steak. Repeat on the other side.
Step 2
Smash the garlic clove.
Step 3
Heat the pan. When it is hot, add the sunflower oil. Then add the steak (leave the temperature on high). After 1,5-2 minutes, flip the steak and add the butter and rosemary. Fry for another 2-3min.
Step 4
After frying, place the steak on a plate and let rest for 5 minutes.

Red wine sauce

Step 5
Place the apple slice into the same pan you fried the steak (use the oil-juice mixture from the meat to give the sauce its unique taste).
Step 6
Add the red wine and let it reduce for 3 min.
Step 7
Afterwards drain the spices from the sauce. Add the butter and let it reduce for another 3min.

Sandwich

Step 8
Cut the baguette in half and drizzle both sides with a little olive oil. Toast until golden brown.
Step 9
In another dish, mix the mayonnaise, mustard and pepper until everything is well combined.
Step 10
Slice the steak and grate the parmesan.
Step 11
Spread the bottom half of the baguette with the mayonnaise mixture.
Step 12
Top it with the arugula and steak.
Step 13
Pure over the red wine sauce and sprinkle on the parmesan.
Step 14
Stack the other baguette half on top and enjoy!
