Combine all ingredients in a crockpot and cook on low setting for 20 hours. After the first hour, regularly press the ingredients beneath the broth line with a wooden spoon. Do not worry if the broth is not above the contents initially. Add spring water or broth later if necessary.

Taste for flavor and saltiness before removing the stew from the crockpot. Add Himalayan sea salt or Better than Bullion Beef if the broth needs more salt.
