Braising Liquid (Blend together)
1 ½ cupsbeef broth
2chipotles
from adobo sauce
1 Tbspadobo sauce
2 Tbspminced garlic
2 Tbspapple cider vinegar
1juice of lime
2 Tbspcumin
2 Tbsporegano
1 Tbsponion powder
1 Tbspgarlic powder
½ Tbspsalt
½ Tbsppepper
For the Bowl

Step 1
Prepare the braising liquid and set aside.

Pat chuck roast dry and season heavily with salt, pepper & garlic powder. Sear in ghee or oil of choice on a large skillet for 3-4 min per side on medium-high heat.

Pour a layer of liquid at the bottom of the crockpot then add in the chuck roast, rest of the liquid and the bay leaves. Cook on high for 4-6 hours until tender and starts to fall apart.

Remove and let cool for a few minutes then shred it up. Add some of the broth over top.
Step 5
Serve with rice, pico de gallo, avocado, lettuce and some lime juice for a tasty bowl.
