Ingredients
4 servings
1 LB93/7 ground beef
0.5white onion
1 cupcarrots
small, chopped
250 gramsmini potato
1 canel pato sauce
½ cupbeef bone broth
2garlic cloves
salt
pepper
3 cupfrijoles de la olla
cooked
Instructions
Step 1
1. Peel and chop vegetables into small pieces and mince the garlic.
Step 2
2. Add in ground beef and cook for 5 minutes.
Step 3
3. Add in the chopped onions, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
Step 4
4. Once onions are translucent (~3-4 mins) add in potatoes and carrots. Combine well.
Step 5
5. Add 1 can of el pato sauce and 1/2 cup of beef broth. Mix well.
Step 6
6. Cook for 15-20 minutes or until potatoes and carrots are fork tender.
Step 7
7. If needed, add seasonings to taste.
Step 8
8. Serve with a side of beans. Each bowl will get 1.25 cup picadillo mixture & 3/4 c beans.
