Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350℉
Step 2
Clean cut up, and parboil carrots until just tender
Step 3
Fry bacon, crumble and retain 3 tbsp of bacon fat for frying green onions.
Step 4
In a buttered casserole dish, layer carrots, bacon, onions and cheese.
Step 5
Pour soup over all, season with salt and pepper.
Step 6
Bake uncovered at 350℉ for 45 minutes
