Instructions

Step 1
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, and egg yolk. Mix well with your hands.

Add the bread crumbs and mix until just combined.

Form the meat mixture into four patties, about 1-inch thick and 3-4 inches in diameter.

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add a tablespoon of oil or butter to the pan.

Cook the burgers for 3-4 minutes per side, or until cooked through to your liking.
Step 6
Place a slice of cheese on top of each burger and cover the pan for 1-2 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
Step 7
Serve the burgers on buns with your favorite toppings and enjoy!
