Instructions

Step 1
Thaw and Drain the Shrimp: Place the frozen shrimp in a colander or fine-mesh strainer. Run cold water over the shrimp for a few minutes to thaw them. Once thawed, drain them thoroughly. You can also place the shrimp in a bowl of cold water to speed up the thawing process.
Step 2
Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. About 2 minutes before the pasta is done, add the broccoli florets to the boiling water. Drain the pasta and broccoli together and set aside.
Step 3
Cook the Shrimp: In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Add the frozen shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they turn pink and opaque. Remove the cooked shrimp from the skillet and set them aside.
Step 4
Prepare the Alfredo Sauce: In the same skillet, add the heavy cream and bring it to a simmer. Reduce the heat to low and whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and thickened. Season the sauce with salt and black pepper to taste. If you like a bit of heat, you can also add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
Step 5
Combine Everything: Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet with the Alfredo sauce. Add the drained fettuccine and broccoli to the skillet as well. Toss everything together gently until the shrimp, pasta, and broccoli are evenly coated with the creamy sauce.
Step 6
Serve: Garnish the Shrimp and Broccoli Alfredo with chopped fresh parsley. You can also sprinkle some extra grated Parmesan cheese on top if desired.
Step 7
Enjoy: Serve your delicious Shrimp and Broccoli Alfredo immediately while it's hot. It makes a satisfying and creamy pasta dish with tender shrimp and nutritious broccoli.
