Step 1
Heat oil in a large pot. Add onion and green pepper and sauté until soft and onion is translucent. Add ground beef, breaking up clumps. When all clumps are gone, cover and cook for 20 minutes. Add diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, ketchup , chili powder and salt & pepper. Simmer for another 20 minutes. Add kidney beans and cook until done, about 15 minutes.
