Instructions
Step 1
In a 4 qt sauce pan, cook onion, garlic, cumin, & red pepper flakes in oil until onion is tender (about 3 minutes) then remove from heat.
Step 2
In a blender, puree 2 cans beans, drained & rinsed, with the chicken broth. (you may have to do this in batches). Then add to onion mixture
Step 3
Stir in remaining beans, salsa, & lime juice.
Step 4
Heat mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to loa and simmer for 30 minutes.
