Braised Beef Noodle Soup

Instructions

Step 1
add oil, onion first and then whole garlic pieces, ginger, scallions, shiitake mushroom
Step 2
• add doubanjiang, mix + then beef shank adding some color to it
Step 3
• add and mix tomato pieces, brown sugar, soy sauce, dark soy, cooking wine
Step 4
• add beef stock and water, five spice, bay, star anise, cinnamon stick, bay
Step 5
simmer 3+ hours
Step 6
• cook noodles + veg
Step 7
• top noodles with beef shank, broth, cilantro + mustard greens
