Instructions
Step 1
add the pork to a sauce pan and cover with cold water


Step 2
bring to the boil and cover with a lid

Step 3
reduce the heat to low and cook for 5 hours
Step 4
in a small saucepan combine 300ml water, sake, soy sauce and mirin





Step 5
bring to the boil then remove from the heat
Step 6
add the pork to the saucepan, cover and simmer for 20-30 mins
