Caramelized Banana Oats

Caramelized Banana Oats:
🔸 1 cup almond milk
🔸 1/2 cup rolled oats
🔸 1/2 tsp cinnamon
🔸 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
🔸 Spray of neutral oil
🔸 1-2 tbsp maple syrup
🔸 1 banana, sliced
🔸 Any kind of nuts (e.g. pecans, walnuts, almonds)

Instructions
Step 1
Bring almond milk to a boil
Step 2
Add oats and reduce heat to low
Step 3
Add cinnamon, vanilla extract and salt
Step 4
Simmer for 5 to 8 minutes to finish cooking
Step 5
Spray neutral oil on a sauté pan and add maple syrup
Step 6
Once sizzling, add sliced banana
Step 7
Cook for 5 minutes on each side
Step 8
Place into a bowl and sprinkle with cinnamon and nuts
