Instructions

Step 1
Cut the boneless chicken breast into cubes.
Step 2
In a bowl, add rice vinegar, soya sauce, red chilli sauce, ketchup, green chillies paste, white pepper powder, onion powder, ginger powder, garlic powder, salt, and chilli powder. Mix everything well.

Add the chicken cubes to the marinade mixture and coat them evenly. Leave the chicken to marinate for at least an hour.

While the chicken is marinating, cut the bell peppers and onions into square pieces.
Step 5
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
Step 6
Assemble the shashlik skewers by threading the bell peppers, onions, and marinated chicken cubes onto the skewers.

Place the skewers rack on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
Step 8
Brush the shashlik skewers with oil.
Step 9
Bake the skewers in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.

For a little crispiness, broil or grill the skewers for an additional 8-10 minutes on the top oven rack.

Once cooked, the chicken shashlik skewers are ready to be served.
