Instructions
Step 1
Cut the lamb steaks into large chunks and set aside.
Step 2
In a bowl, mix the plain yoghurt, garlic, ginger, paprika, curry powder and season well with salt and pepper.
Step 3
Add the lamb and allow to marinate until needed.
Step 4
Cut the apple into big slices and use one of the wider and thicker disks for the base of your DIY rotisserie.
Step 5
Stick a bamboo skewer through the centre of the apple slice and begin to pierce the lamb pieces onto it.
Step 6
Layer the meat until you have used up all of it. Top with another slice of apple and place on a baking tray.
Step 7
Bake in the oven for 30 minutes at 180c, Gas mark 4, or until the lamb is beautifully pink.
Step 8
Shred the meat into strips and fill a flatbread with pickled red cabbage, lettuce, tomato and garlic mayonnaise to make the ultimate lamb kebab.
