This smoothie packs a protein punch but maintains a low energy density. Whilst a typical supermarket raspberry cheesecake may contain 300 to 400 calories per 100 g portion, this smoothie has just under 100 calories per 100 g. Therefore it is a great substitute for a dessert or as a breakfast or lunch meal replacement. Vegans can substitute a non-dairy yoghurt in place of Greek yoghurt and similarly, non-vegetarians can replace soya milk with semi-skimmed milk.
