slivered, lightly roasted

Dressing
Instructions
Step 1
To make dressing, combine all the ingredients in a saucepan. Stir well over low heat until sugar is dissolved. Cool.
Step 2
Toss the cabbage, shallots, almonds and pine nuts in a salad bowl.
Step 3
Just before serving add the noodles and dressing and toss well.
