Crockpot Angel Chicken
Ingredients:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 packet (1 oz) dry Italian dressing mix
1 can (10.75 oz) condensed golden mushroom soup
1 can (10.75 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup dry white wine
1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened and cut into cubes
1/4 cup butter, melted
1 package (16 oz) angel hair pasta
Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Directions:
Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of a slow cooker.
In a medium bowl, mix together the dry Italian dressing mix, golden mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, white wine, cream cheese, and melted butter. Stir until well combined.
Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours, or until the chicken is tender and cooked through.
About 15 minutes before serving, cook the angel hair pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Remove the chicken from the slow cooker and shred it with two forks. Return the shredded chicken to the slow cooker and stir to combine with the sauce.
Serve the chicken and sauce over the cooked angel hair pasta. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
