Taco Bell pintos and cheese from scratch
1gal bag comfertablely fits 2.5lbs of dry beans. Will fit 3lbs, but it's a really tight fit.
Dry beans on the stove: Put everything in a pot on a simmer for 2 hours. Immersion blend it when it's done until it's smooth. Done.
10QT crock pot: 6lbs, 'low' for 5.5 then immersion blend. (Dont worry about soaking the beans)
Rice cooker: choose the longest cycle (usually brown rice). Should take like 1H30M.
