Instructions

Step 1
In saucepan, combine egg, mild, and brown sugar
Step 2
Cook and stir over medium heat until slightly thickened, about 5 minutes
Step 3
Stir in rolled oats and cook just until the mixture begins to boil, about 3 minutes
Step 4
Add butter, cover, and remove from heat
Step 5
Let stand a few minutes, then stir to blend in butter
