Shrimp marinade Ingredients
2 poundsraw deveined shrimp
1 teaspoongarlic powder
Italian seasoning
1 teaspoonpaprika
1 teaspoonlemon pepper
1 teaspoonsalt
¼ teaspoonblack pepper
¼ teaspooncayenne pepper
or to taste
2 tablespoonsolive oil

2 tablespoonsolive oil
to cook the shrimp
Sauce and rest of the Ingredients
1 poundlinguine
boil according to package directions
6 tablespoonsunsalted butter
7 clovesgarlic
1shallots
large
1 teaspoongarlic powder
1 teaspoonpaprika
1 teaspoonlemon pepper
½ teaspoonsalt
½ teaspoonitalian seasoning
¼ teaspoonblack pepper
¼ teaspooncayenne pepper
1zest of lemon
1juice of lemon
1 ½ cupsheavy cream
1 cupparmesan cheese
fresh grated
1 cuppasta water
reserved
½ cupparsley
fresh chopped

Instructions
Step 1
1. Put the cleaned, deveined and pat dried shrimp in a bowl. Season with 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp Italian seasoning, 1 tsp paprika, 1 tsp lemon pepper, 1 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp black pepper, and 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper or to taste. Drizzle in 2 tablespoons olive oil and let marinate for 15 minutes or cook right away if short on time.
Step 2
2. Put a pan on medium-high heat. Add in 2 tablespoons olive oil, then the shrimp in batches and cook shrimp for 2 minutes per side or until the shrimp are pink then transfer to a plate.
Step 3
3. While the shrimp are cooking- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook to al dente according to the package instructions. Reserve 1 cup of the cooking water, then drain.
Step 4
4. To the same pan that the shrimp was cooked in add 6 tablespoons butter, shallot and garlic, cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
Step 5
5. Add in the seasonings 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp paprika, 1 tsp lemon pepper, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning, 1/4 tsp black pepper and a 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper or to taste. The zest and juice of one lemon. Stir, then add in the heavy cream. Stir again and let simmer until the sauce slightly thickens (for 2 minutes).
Step 6
6. Add in the cooked pasta, give it a quick toss. Grate in 1 cup of Parmesan cheese and toss again, then add in the 1 cup reserved pasta water and toss.
Step 7
7. Return the cooked shrimp and all the juices back into the pan, add in the fresh parsley and toss everything together really well and serve immediately. Don’t forget to garnish with some more fresh parsley and Parmesan cheese and enjoy!
