Marinara and Bean Dish
This is based first on Shakshouka, but has been adapted far enough to have become its own dish. Any type of bean can be used.
Optional: crack in up to 5 eggs and cover until the egg white is cooked (8-10 minutes).

Instructions
Step 1
Sauté onions in a saucepan until golden. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
Step 2
Add tomatoes, and heat until simmering. Stir in salt, sugar, and Italian seasoning. Cover and cook for 3 more minutes.
Step 3
Serve with bread or rice.
