Step 1
Mix the flour, bicarbonate of soda and salt. Add one egg and milk and whisk well until fully combined. You should have a smooth batter, not too runny. Mix in your favourite savoury ingredients (e.g grated cheese, onion, fresh herbs)
Step 2
Brush a non-stick pan with oil and pour around 1/3rd of a cup of the batter for each pancake. Cook for around 2 mins and flip. Fry until golden-brown on both sides and cooked through. Serve with either fried/poached eggs, bacon/parma ham/salmon, cream cheese/sour cream, avocado, feta, syrup. Happy brunching! 🥞😍
