Ingredients
6 servings
4 tablespoonsbutter
2 tablespoonsolive oil
1 cupCelery
chopped
1 cupshredded carrots
1 tablespoonminced garlic
½ teaspoonsalt
½ teaspoonblack pepper
2 teaspoonsonion powder
1 tablespoonitalian seasoning
¼ cupflour
3 cupschicken broth
3 cupsmilk
1 ½ cupsheavy cream
2 cupschicken
cooked, shredded
8 ozFrozen spinach
chopped
16 ozgnocchi
Instructions
Step 1
In large pot, over medium heat, add butter and olive oil.
Step 2
Once melted add Celery and cook 5-7 mins until soft
Step 3
Add garlic and stir about 30 seconds, then add carrots and seasonings above.
Step 4
Add flour and stir 2 mins until well combined
Step 5
Add chicken broth,milk,and heavy cream. Toss in Spinach and Shredded Chicken and stir until combined.
Step 6
Turn up the heat and bring to boil, then gently add in gnocchi and boil 4-5 mins.
Step 7
Serve with bread sticks
