Instructions
Step 1
Fry beef on high heat until dark brown
Step 2
Remove beef, lower heat, and fry onions, garlic, celery, and carrots on medium heat for 5 minutes
Step 3
Add beef to pot, add tomatoes, spices and herbs, and chicken stock and cook for 1 hour or until beef is moderately soft. Add water as needed
Step 4
Add potatoes and carrots, cut into chunks and the rest of the veg and cook for the further 20 minutes or until the potatoes are soft.
Step 5
Remove the lid and let the sauce reduce until desired consistency
Step 6
Serve with white or brown rice
