Ingredients

6 ozbacon

small, thinly sliced
1 cupkimchi
chopped
½ tspsugar
3cloves garlic
minced
½ Tbspgochujang paste
8 ozangel hair pasta
3 cupschicken broth
½ cupheavy cream
1 cupparmesan cheese
freshly grated
salt
to taste

Instructions
Step 1
In a large deep skillet, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove with a slotted spoon and set aside, leaving about the bacon fat in the skillet.

Add the sliced small onion to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes until softened.

Stir in the chopped kimchi, sugar, gochujang paste and minced garlic, cooking for an additional 2 minutes until fragrant.

Step 4
Add the angel hair pasta and chicken broth, gently pressing the pasta down to fully submerge. Cook over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, for about 4 minutes until the noodles begin to soften.

Step 5
Lower the heat to medium-low. Stir in the heavy cream and grated parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Season to taste with salt and pepper.

Remove from heat and top with crispy bacon, green onions, and extra parmesan cheese if desired. Serve hot and enjoy!
