Instructions
Step 1
Prepare the base:
Heat the oil in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat.


Step 2

Add the grated onion and sauté for a few minutes.


Step 3

Add the meat pieces and sauté until slightly browned

Add the pre-soaked chickpeas.

Step 5

Add ginger (fresh or ground), black pepper, turmeric, and salt.
Stir well and let it simmer for 5 minutes

Pour in about 1 liter of water.
Cover and cook over medium heat for 30 minutes.

Step 7

Add the tomato purée and mix well.
Let it simmer for another 15 minutes.

Stir in the steamed rice and continue cooking.

In a bowl, mix the 100 g of flour with 500 ml of cold water until smooth

Gradually pour this mixture into the pot while stirring vigorously to prevent lumps

Stir in the blended coriander and parsley.

Simmer on low heat for another 15 minutes.
