Cajun Shrimp and Chicken Pasta

This pasta can be served with chicken, shrimp, salmon, or all three. It's THAT good. Once you try this pasta, you'll never want to stop eating it.

Instructions

Step 1
Cook pasta to al dente according to box instructions, once pasta is cooked drain from water
Step 2
Season chicken and shrimp with 2 tbsp olive oil and cajun seasoning
Step 3
In a large skillet, heat up 1 tbsp olive oil and add chicken and cook until blackened
Step 4
Once chicken is cooked, remove from heat and cook shrimp (make sure not to overcook shrimp as it can become rubbery)
Step 5
Remove shrimp from heat once it's cooked, and add onions, red pepper, green pepper, minced garlic, and cajun seasoning to skillet (dice peppers and onions to preferred size)
Step 6
Once veggies soften a bit, add in your heavy cream
Step 7
Once it starts to bubble, add in parmesan and mozzarella cheese
Step 8
Once cheese is melted, add shrimp back to skillet along with cooked penne
Step 9
Mix all together then add in parsley
Step 10
Cut chicken into strips and serve on top of pasta
